I have been away from the board while recovering from knee replacement surgery. I am doing much better now by the grace of God. This has been the most painful surgery and recovery I have ever been through. This is the fourth surgery in two years on the same knee and I am praying this will take away the pain for good. Monday will be 7 weeks and I am walking on my own. I am now working on strength to go back to a normal way of life. Bow season opens here the last Saturday in September and I would like to be in a tree stand on that day. Or at the least be in a ground blind.
Prayers would be appreciated for a complete recovery. Rev. Mike

Thank you Bill.
Whyohe I just want to be able to be out there. Last December the only way I could hunt was to ride my 4 wheeler to the fields and hunt. I would sit in a chair behind it. Climbing a hill to hunt the woods was out of the question. I was still blessed to harvest 18 deer last year. That Yamaha grizzly would pull out 3 at a time.

What is the story with the African Chief? I am praying that you will recover by the power of the Spirit of God.

Hello Doug,
The picture of His Royal Highness ( Sorry, I can not even begin to spell his name) and myself is where I presented him with a King James Bible. It was on my second trip to Africa and He called for me to come to his home and meet with him and his lesser Chiefs. I did not know until then that he had attended in the crusade the previous year. He also after the end of the second crusade presented me with an African Chief's robe and made me an honorary Chief of the Ebu people. I can wear the robe in Nigeria and the people will recognize by the design of the robe that I am an Ebu Chief and honor me as such. It is my most cherished possession. They are a very poor people but they gave me their highest honor they could give. I also met some of the heads of state in the government of Nigeria on that trip as well.
You will notice my shirt is wet because at that time it was 110 degrees F. The Ebu people do not even perspire at that cool of a temperature. Most of them wear native clothes long sleeves and long tops over their pants. The reason I posted the picture at this time was I just figured out how to use the attachment and thought I would try it.
P.S. Thanks for the prayers. I have His grace and know all things work to the good of them who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. IHS Rev. Mike
