I have been scanning some of the threads and trying to find a stout load for a 700ml smokeless conversion. What is the maximum pressure and load that is comfortable in this action with a 275gr or 300gr sabotless bullet? Looking at something in the the 2700fps range if possible and MOA to 400yds if that's realistic.

Which barrel? Does it have a barrel nut?

Yes, it would be very helpful to know the contour of your barrel. My 700ML conversion is way overbuilt, just as much as piece of mind as it is to safety. It is a Palma which is 1.250 for 7" and .800 at the muzzle. My personal limit is 275gr bullets with loads at 2800fps, not because of what the barrel would take but of what my shoulder can take without "flinching". The load is N110/IMR3031, but if you are not into duplexing, no need to go further. The following link will lead you to many loads with hyperlinks to pressures as well as speeds: dougsmessageboards.proboards.com/thread/14868/tginpa-pressure-trace-loads-hyperlinked
