Hi all. I used to have a black/blue 10MLII that I loved, but I ended up selling/trading it when I got in a bind. I made a lot of memories with that gun, and swore that I would someday have one again. Well, today I was able to trade into one with a small shank barrel that I think was fired with the bullet not seated all of the way, but regardless of the methodology it has a slight bulge in it. I’d like to find another 50 cal barrel to put back on it, as I have no real desire to hunt long range, and I still have a lot of bullets, sabots, etc to shoot through it. Savage doesn’t sell replacements, so I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to get one, or may have one that they would like to sell.
Thank you in advance!

Hopefully those that converted to .45s might still have a .50 barrel available for you.

Hopefully those that converted to .45s might still have a .50 barrel available for you. That’s what I’m hoping. I’ll go to a .45 if I can’t find a takeoff, but I don’t need anything more than something that will shoot 1.5” groups at 100, and I really liked what I used in my other. I’m pretty excited to be headed back towards the simplicity of a smokeless again... no swabbing between shots, no unloading and cleaning between hunts to avoid corrosion. I’m probably going to be hunting with a BP substitute this season due to funds and time if I can’t find a takeoff, but I’m willing to be patient.

I see that Luke has 50 cal barrels if you can't find a take off.
