Exploring Relationship of PSI vs FPS

While things are quiet, I decided to further explore what PT traces might reveal. Going with relationship of FPS/PSI with a specific powder, specific bullet and Rise Time. I found something interesting with their relationship. I might be able to calculate the PSI needed for a velocity of 2800FPS. I did calculate I would need 37K PSI to achieve my goal. To verify this, I would need to continue using a standard Savage BP and get my chronograph working to verify.
Now my curiosity wondered what calculated PSI is needed to reach 3000FPS.
So, 3000 divided by .077 equals, I’ll leave this with you to calculate, chuckle.
