How do y’all make sure the wads stay flat and not turn edge ways when loading? Never used them before.

I make sure they are oriented properly and push the bullet down on top. I've never had an issue with the wad turning sideways. Bullets always line up with witness mark.

I orientate to bore and start with my thumb. Then press down the bore about an inch with my short starter. This positions the wad to seat parallel to the bullet base.
