Finally took the Encore Brux barrel out. Received from Luke back in March and just did get a chance to take it out. Pretty impressed! Was only able to stretch it to 200yds and I’m not the best of shots but very happy. Load was 65gr 4198 under a Alco 250gr all copper HP with a light one hand pressure to seat. imgur.com/gallery/IgtEyYB

Nice! I just bought the same barrel and can’t wait to try it out! They look like they’re real shooters!

That looks like a mighty fine rig!! and that sure is a kick a$$ scope you put on it. Have you tried any other bullets? I bought a box of those Alco bullets last year and had flyers both smooth and full formed sized. I'd bet if you tried a few different lead core bullets you would really shrink those groups down.

Great looking rifle and pretty good shootin' at 200 yards.
Use your Alco's conservatively, for he has discontinued them. I asked him why and he told me they were slow sellers, and that maybe he should have advertised them better....well, duh! The only ML bullet he lists on the site now is a 300gr lead core.
I shot one of the 250gr all-coppers into those big cheeseball jugs and it got into the third one, which would have been over 20" of water. That hollow point goes close to the full length of the bullet. The three petals opened up to just under two inches.
I did experience flyers with the 250gr bullets in a .451 barrel when full sized fairly loose, but better results attained when sized for two-hand pressure. I knurled and full sized the 275gr bullets for a .458 barrel and they shoot under MOA.
Both are only going to get used for making sure the scope is on just prior to hunting and for hunting, since they have been discontinued.

Went out and shot some Pittmans today with similar results, I shot about 20x and didn’t notice any flyers and as far as shrinking the group. That’s less than MOA so, I know the combo can shoot better than I can on most days and am happy for the minute.
