The doe is one of the biggest ones I have ever harvested. She was about 225 yards away when I took the shot. I watched her go down but as I walked up to her I was worried she was a he until I got up on her. This one was last day of the 1st gun season and all I had was an anterless tag so I was thankful she wasn't a he. I was with others who could have legally tagged a buck for me but it was never something I wanted to do. The buck was on the 2nd day of late muzzleloader (yesterday). Nice weather so I didn't know if anything would come out. He did with several does and 2 other bucks. A much shorter shot than the doe and he didn't go far either. 209 gun with Brux barrel.

That does look like a big doe. I like the character of the buck.

Those are huge! Wish my 22 PacNor were a 18 or 20 Brux. Details on load and ranges? Congratulations!
