Now im no dummy when it comes to staying safe on the net. I have over 20 years full time experience in the IT field.
The sav10ml dot come link in the smokeless section now redirects to a bogus spyware removal site. If you click it the only easy way to shut it down is in task manager.
DONT CLICK THE SAV10ML link unless you know how to close your browser safely!!!
DONT CLICK ANYTHING ON THE PAGE IT OPENS!!!!
EDIT:
I tried it using Chrome and again with Firefox. This time it took me to a site wanting to install an addon but it would close without task manager.

Just glad i found it before someone got nailed. The first time i tried it i got that YOUR SYSTEM IS INFECTED bogus warning telling me my service would be turned off to prevent spreading the virus. This is a very common scam by the bogus antivirus/antimalware websites. The average person would either assume its real or click cancel. Well both have the potential to infect your PC.
NEVER click on anything when you get duped into one of those web pages. ALWAYS open up task manager, highlight your browser process that is running (Firefox in my case) press the End Task button. That will safely terminate your browser and take you back to a desktop. Sometimes when you restart your browser it will resume and you need to do it again if you dont wait long enough.

Consider reporting the scam to relevant authorities like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your local cybersecurity agency. |
