55 years ago, I bought my first press, a Lyman 310 hand tool. That was followed in the 1970's with a press made by Texan; for the last several years I have used the RCBS Rockchucker. My only complaint with it has been that it is only marginally open enough to load my 300 Win Mag cartridges. I'm also tired of more or less constantly changing dies for every operation.
On an impulse I ordered the T-7. I use Redding dies and know them to be superior, so hoped the press would live up to the name.
I'm as happy with it as I had hoped; made of cast iron, it weighs close to 40 pounds and is absolutely rigid. The turret takes some effort to turn, and locks at each station with a positive detent that doesn't shift or yield at all when the operating lever is depressed. Because it has seven stations, I am able to permanently mount my bullet removal die, an extra seating die, and the three dies in the caliber set; this still leaves two stations open for more dies of the same or perhaps different caliber.
I ordered it with the optional slide bar primer loader. Although it works as advertised, I prefer my old RCBS hand squeezed priming tool. I think I'll list the slide bar primer loader for sale. If anyone wants it, PM me.
