I have 2 already, but sometimes I get the addition thing going so I going to have another one. Savage axis action, wood stock a 18" barrel from rhineland that has been installed and cold blued (ran out so I'll end up putting a couple more coats on it a new bolt head has been sent off to have it made for the case diameter and I'm going to have to do something with the mag which might even mean getting a 223 and opening it up a hair But the thing shoots pretty good < than 1/2" at 50 yards shooting ppu rn and wolf 123 hp, had to extract the spent brass most the time with a rod but the new bolt head should fix that, they are a fun gun to shoot and the wolf hp are like 6 bucks a box, I can almost afford to shoot this thing. Some of the addition is I have a niece that thinks she might like to go sit in a stand, I want something she can shoot and is easy to handle

I have an Orbendorf Mauser that someone made into a 7.62x39. It is a ton of fun and cheap to shoot!

ok so I've sent a 223 bolt head out to have it made for the 7.62, but it's a couple of weeks out so I've got extra bolt heads laying around and I decided what the hey. I took a 7.62 case, put 2 layers of masking tape on it (for a little wiggle room), used a pin threw the flash hole to line up the brass to the firing pin and me an JB filled in the space on the back side of the bolt face. Seems to work very well, I'll just have to see how it holds up, Only lost one extractor ball in the prosses, figured that wasn't too bad

Interesting solution. Should work for a little while.
