Now others may differ but I never really thought a break in was needed for a muzzleloader, especially one using sabots.

Unless impregnated with something like lapping grit (NOT recommending it), plastic will never wear the lands for a "break in". The barrels that Luke sells should not need any break in anyway. You need to adjust powder charges to find the best accuracy.
The reason so many of us got away from saboted rounds is because of the weakness of the plastic. When loaded in a warm barrel, the plastic gets soft, sometimes to the point of leaving plastic residue in the rifle which absolutely ruins accuracy. Long waiting times between shots and/or the need for cooling rods (especially in warm temps) just seem to take the fun out of it.

Both my 45's (one 7 years ago and current one) have shot sub moa without any type of break in shooting 40 cal sst in harvester blue sabot. If I really thought I need to break it in I would use ttt and power belts for a metal to metal break in, but I agree it's not needed What did you use for a stock for a 11 action. Mine I just opened up the front pillar, and epoxied it back in, this is in a savage ml II lam stock just wondering how you solved the problem

ok I have shot the the fiream 3 times using 4198 58g and 200g sst with blue sabot first time out the gun was shooting high at 100yrds it was 24 f outside (-4 C) in the North (canada) anyway made a scope adjustment then the rounds went south sheck rings and bases one ring was a tad loose so I ended up switching scopes to a cheap tasco 3X9 and I was shooting for groups only at 75yrds the best i could do was 1.5 to 2 inches and high very high tried 100 yrds and not even on paper . So the loading pressure increases after each shot but I doesnt take alot of pressure to seat the bullet. I have not slug the barrel to find out land to land .. So when i put this together I used the facory lug since my action was not faced and used the barrel nut from the orginal action . Any ideas to improve accuracy

Knurl your bullets so they load tighter. Did you bed it yet? What sabot. Most do the best with the harvester light blue (not ribbed).
