New member here. Just bought beautiful thumbhole ML-II but no tool to remove Breech Plug. It has the one with slots. Sure would appreciate anyone willing to sell one would purchase. I read about the ones guys made but I am not that talented. Help please plus it’s my Birthday today only thing I want. That’s pretty funny. Thanks again

Enough have switched to a different design breech plug that they may have one available. This has not been on site long, I would suspect you will hear from someone.

I don't have an old tool anymore or I would mail it to you. However, once you get that one out give Luke at Arrowhead Sporting goods a shout and buy the Savage replacement plug with a 3/8 hex head. His replacement plugs are built to tighter tolerances and all you need is a 3/8 thin wall socket, extension and ratchet for easy removal.

I did the same thing.. Just bought a SS Laminate ML2 without a breech plug wrench... Just made one out of grinding down a 3/8 socket and left 2 tits on it... Worked like a charm

Are you needing a breach plug tool or a breach plug?
