If so, I might be getting an Encore some day.

I actually think their Icon rifle would make an awesome smokeless muzzleloader with its integral base mount and other great features !
I'm surprised Thompson hasn't thought of doing it since Muzzleloading has always been their bread & butter !

Another option would be bergara barrels. They make ML barrels for encores, from the same steel as their centerfires. Relatively cheap, too.

You'd probably need to get a new BP made for it, and you'd be limited to 1:28 twist, but it should work.
