Nice young buck. Should be some good eating. That thing still have the gut sack in it? Yeah I cleaned it an hour later. Here in NC we don't don't have to gut the animal at the kill site and it doesn't see to effect the taste of the meat.

Wow, personally I like to get the guts out ASAP. Let the cooling of the meat begin. Definitely so in the early season. If at all possible I prefer to get the hide off while the critter is still warm. It is much easier to do the work. But if that is how you like to do it. Congrats on the kill.
