I don't have one but from what I've read and researched was 4350 is probably one of the best for that rifle just very hard to find. For my 243 4350 is suppose to be one of the best powders as well but I had a hard time finding it. It was recommended to use 4831 instead which I did find and did load up a test for but haven't had a chance to get out to try yet. Looks like this weekend I'll get a chance to try providing the wind is not blowing hard. I would think 4831 would be good as well for the 6.5 Creedmoore.

I had never heard that 4350 was hard to find, perhaps it is a regional thing. I have used 4350 with success for over 55 years. Now not in a creedmore but a 25-06.

H4350 is pretty tough the fine especially if you buy your powder online there are some local shops have it in Michigan Jay's up north but they're a little expensive and an hour and a half drive

I decided to not go with the Ruger I took the barrel off my Savage model 12 243 and sent my action to a gunsmith who has done work for me on rifles for years I bought a Brux 6.5 caliber Remington varmint style barrel and am having it sent to my gunsmith at first Brux said 3 months to get it I said I didn't want to wait that long so they said they would speed it up to 1-1/2 months. I am not a target shooter just a hunter and paper puncher Now to get a stock What would anyone recommend? any one have a knowledge on full aluminum bedded stocks? Or should I just use the Boyd's TH laminated stock that was on the savage and have it pillar bedded?

The .260 Rem and 6.5 CM aren't too much difference in case capacity. I have excellent luck with Varget and 123s in Rem. I would imagine 4064 would do the trick as well the burn rate is similar. The slower powders are great with 140s. Perhaps Keith will chime in- I believe he shoots a Creedmore.

I watched a video where a fellow was shooting two different rifles chambered in 6.5 Creedmore they both didn't like the 140 grain bullets but rally shined with 120 grain I have bought several different weight bullets and will try when I get my barreled action back. I have been researching various scopes I am in no position to buy a night force so my thought is to buy a Leupold 6.5X20X50 or sightron 8X32X56

On scopes don't overlook SWFA-- their adjustment mechanisms are about flawless as far as I can tell. The 140 is the bullet to shoot in the 6.5 if you have enough barrel twist and can find a load combination that shoots. The BC on the 140s is very good--like over .5.

If you was building on a Savage action you should have just called Northland Shooter's Supply, Jim probably has what you want in a prefit CBI barrel. These barrels shoot very well and you could of had it in about a week.

My gunsmith is very fast He said he has the barrel from Brux just waiting for new recoil lug from Brownells once he gets it he will finish and return too me. I am a real novice when it comes to putting a Savage barrel on and head spacing I have no No Go gauges. I won't try anything if I don't know what I am doing. I have sent other actions to him in the past and once he had all the parts he would send it back too me in 2 to 3 weeks and his work is second to none. Now I need someone to put pillars and glass bed my Boyds Laminated TH stock

Why not have the same guy bed it? If he does precision barrel work he probably can execute a pillar job.
As for bullets and the video you mention, my guess would be that it might have been a 1-9" gun because I don't know anyone that owns a properly pitched high performance 6.5 (not Grendel/LBC/etc) that can't get a 140gn-ish bullet to shoot. Nearly everyone chooses the 140gn-ish over the 123gn for long work but if you are shooting inside of 500yds you can push a 123gn fast enough with Varget to do good work.

Choate Tactical for Savage SA 4.4" spacing target stock. Bought this one it's aluminum full bedded, No longer need pillars He my (Gunsmith) only does custom barrel work he says he has no time to bed stocks. He has re barreled several of my actions I have a variety of Berger bullet weights as well as Nosler, Sierra, and Hornady from 123-140 grain as soon as the stock arrives I will mount the Vortec scope and do some testing
