Whew hot dang what a mornin, at 8:39 am i popped a mature Doe. Was 3 of them n they were hot, twichy tails. So the other 2 jus start millin around n i am reloadin this ML. I have to put my 4 pc ramrod together n i am slow I keep usin my Buck grunt n talkin to them. Every time i hit the grunt they get jiggy n tails bouncin. Heck i got it loaded n tried to put my cap on n my fingers were real cold, cap falls down to ground. I get my other cap out n get it in nipple, i am waitin gruntin n watchin. The other 2 come back up to me 30 yds n i pop the 2nd one bang flop, they are dead down n 20 yds apart. Call my Mrs. tell her n say dead deer turn my girls out. I get to the ground from climber about the time they show up. Takes them couple min's to find them Doe's. I love it, Doe on the left was a very big Doe. I killed my Firearms deer last yr on next of last day jus like this yr. Usin my .45 SML

Now the work begins Congratulations, what load are you using? edge. I used an XTP 200gr bullet n sabot with 30gr of 4759. The bullets are explosive with this load, i need to use a lower powder charge or change bullets. I don't mind messin up the ribs, but it ruined the shoulder meat on both Doe's on the entrance side

That's work, but could drive right to them in the field. My buddy and I shot 7 does once, and my back was killing me from a pinched nerve so bad I could hardly walk. He rounded them all up, then gutted all 7 in a row. Boy do I still owe him. Lol

I don't think i want to shoot doubles or more after this at my age. I figure 1 at a time will do fine
