This gal smashed this brute with a 302gn BOMB using one of Jeff Fisk's custom guns. Awesome deer!

i think i messed up selling that rifle was probably my favorite build and i personally shot it 2 yrs in competition and killed 2 giant bucks with it in consecutive years and this year it smashes this giant for this fine lady. fyi she shot this buck at 175 yds making 3 shot average buck kills over 3 years for this gun 224 yds all with bombs and all dirt nap.

Nice shooting, nice gun, and nice bullets! That side view really shows what a beast he was, looks like a lot of body on that big boy.

What a monster. It is great when everything comes together, and is great when a woman out does the rest of guys. That is some great shooting, and the rifle is great looking. I hope I can find one that big in Dec. when I go there. Great job and tremendous buck.

Posting this per shooters info Part of jacket (base and nose) was stuck in exit. Exit hole about 2.75". Yes, core blew clear through. I told her to aim back behind shoulder so cape wouldnt b destroyed. Shot was quartering away slightly. Impact high liver on close side, exit was behind shoulder and low. -17 degree angle. The broadside pic i sent u i rolled belly under to hide wound. Broken ribs and guts were all cottage cheese. Only organ intact was heart. I had to physically scoop entrails out because all connecting tissue and entrails were so destroyed i couldnt pull them out like normal.
4" behind shoulder is recommended if ur shooting a mounter. U saw the doe pic, that was Extreme quartering too shot.
9 deer harvested with that bullet and gun this yr. Muzzle velocity2400 Bombs definitely work

shot was quartering to, Hole is large due to bone material exiting through hide. My experience with the 302's have been lethal, always. No tracking needed. Broadside off the shoulder would be best for meat preservation. They are lethal and if you want to preserve shoulder meat keep poi off it.
We are involved with deer depredation program and harvest many deer. These bullets work.
