Well 3.5 day trip to western Nebraska to spot and stalk mule deer one bad stalk on the first day left is holding out heads down. Seen allot of deer couple big bucks and today spotted this little guy feeding around 3pm. Made a stalk to about 60 yards and stepped on a dead weed that gave me away. Gave me a broad side shot and I was smelling backstraps on the grill. I've never spot and stalked mule deer and figured it was a good place to start and only up is where I can go. He ran 50 yards and piled up under a blue spruce. Doe from this morning's hunt around 200 yards through a phone scope and Redfield Rampage spotting scope.
