Boy this smokeless muzzle loading is sure addictive Just bought a 20" SS 45-70 Slufoot conversion off the F.S. sight too put on an extra SS frame that I have. Now to get a Laminated stock and dead nuts ring/base for it and get it mounted up and go out and shoot. I will be pretty busy as soon as I get them all. Carlos has this very same set up and he posted some pictures of some very good groups using 4759/4198 powder with 200 grain bullets. can any one suggest a good load for this conversion Thanks Lou

Yeah, I was aware of that, I guess I was asking the OP if it was from the off site classifieds or if "F.S. sight" is the name of a company that sells conversion barrels.

Unless you see one F.S. on this off sight board and being sold by a member But as far as people who actually build and sell barrels I know of no one.You may want to talk to Luke Arrowhead Sporting Goods LLC He can line you up with everything you need and he is great to deal with You buy your barrel and there are a number who are very good at converting a 45-70 too smokeless It all depends on what action you want to build on. I am also new at this building specialty smokeless muzzle loaders And when you decide what route you are going to take your wallet will always stay empty. If you want a barrel post it on the smokeless building sight I am sure some one will step up and give you good advise no B.S. Good Luck Lou
