I bought this one a while back and really like it. The only issue I have with it is it really struggles with too much light. I've been thinking of trying to make something that covers it better on the really sunny days to help with readings.
My best readings were on over cast days.

Hilly around here and I primarily shoot in the evenings when the sun goes behind the hill and shades the range, so I doubt that will pose any problems for me.

I have one and I like it. The only problem is in the really bright sun as mentioned. I could not get the app on my phone to work, but other than that no issues. I also like that the light kit runs off a battery pack so if you need it you don't have to find an outlet. The kit came with everything I need. Since I'm not shooting 100 yards it serves my purpose for the price it couldn't be beat.

I have the same Chrono...when I got it the app would not work on my Samsung S4...I called them and they said I needed a different cable which plugged into the USB port on phone...after recieving it all worked fine...it is a nice chrony for the money..I like that it saves all data in phone and you can print it out later at home..

I bought the package deal and can't complain. I used the IR lights with the assistance of a flashlight on moon less nights. Overall it's been worth the money.

When one hasn't a smart phone can one get a remote viewer? I have never used a chronograph What would be a reasonable priced unit, not the best but not the worst with a remote viewer. And what does one do to keep sabots from destroying the unit. Thanks Lou

Can you describe how you molded the cover what I assume is Plexiglas? very nice. I have often heard of sabots destroying the screen.

Lexan actually, supposed to be tougher than plex and I think it is not as scratch prone as plex. Been many years since I made it, think I clamped one end to the bench and applied heat with a propane torch where I wanted the bend while applying downward pressure on the opposite end of the shield.
