From PMs I am getting some evidently feel that this forum has been removed from use. To my knowledge it is here for the purpose of requesting prayers, sharing scriptures out of the bible or to just share experiences you have had. This post is to determine if the forum is active. If you read this post feel free to use this forum for the purposes mentioned. Lack of use will eventually cause it to be discontinued according to my understanding. Ozark

If you are a praying person please ask that our elected officials be guided in the right way and that we as a people be led not astray but in the path of rightousness. If you are not a praying person please grant those who are the right to do so. Thank you all for kindness and consideration of others. Ozark

I would like to thank God for preserving all of us to this very day and allowing us to enjoy all of privileges of living in the United States. My prayer is that hardened hearts will be softened to come to an understanding that this country is what it is only because of God's magnificent grace towards us. We still live in the best country in the world and only our prayers and Christ-like love shown towards others will supply the power to overcome the insensitivity towards God that seems to dominate in today's society.

I pray that the president be kept safe, and have the support of the people, whether we agree with everything or not.

I pray daily that the President be kept safe from physical harm. I pray that Congress chokes on the stupid pills that they take daily. I pray that the President fails miserably in every single one of his announced initiatives (at least the ones I've seen so far). I pray that my country somehow claws its way out of the current political climate and establishes itself again as a Christian Nation of Believers that won't compromise the Truth for political expediency. I give constant thanks to God Almighty for allowing me to have lived 3 score years in not only the Greatest Nation ever conceived, but in the Southern Portion Thereof!!! I pray for wisdom for myself and my fellow countrymen to know what changes to espouse and for the courage to make them. I pray that God will work His Plan into whatever might happen, as I know He will. I pray that, like the enslaved Israel of old, we in this country will find a way to turn aside from Evil and worship the ONE true and Living God, and that we will not only believe but act on the belief that His Son, Jesus the Christ, is the one and only true way to the Father. I pray for personal courage to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one as they are hurled at me. I pray for common sense to recognize what is going on around me. And I pray that my children and my grandchildren are somehow allowed to witness the national greatness I was graced to witness, but mostly that they will have faith regardless of what any rulers might say or do.

My prayer is always simple. I pray that Gods will be done and that I have the strength and courage to accept what He decrees is best for me and and the rest of His people regardless of where they may be or what ciffferences we have in beliefs.

Good one Ben......that prayer closely resembles the sentiments of the "Serenity Prayer". It has been a mantra for guys like me who have strugged with life controlling addictions in life. There are many things that are beyond our control. It is important to know that there is nothing beyond the control of the "creator and sustainer of the universe".

We must remember always that God is in control weather it seems so or not. "For I know who holds tomorrow and I know He Holds my hand." The King is coming, amen.
