Open day gun season.
Monday morning open day perfect morning to be hunting.I am setting in my stand with someone waiting day light finally comes we start seeing movement
Deer come across about 160 yrds we was deciding to take them or let them walk I said take them.I let him shoot at this point it was about 200 yrds and he was using 270 emax so he shot and it pretty much just drop in the tracks so ther a couple more.I am getting ready to take the other doe and and the corner of my eye.I see a buck about 240 yrds so I looking at the buck now through my scope the time. I figured he was to small the doe was already gone so we leave the deer lay ther he doesn't reload.I figured I would wait till another doe come out or something.I see a doe coming across the filed about 301 yrds away so she stop out ther I run my scope up and settle in and take the shot when I shot see hop off like I missed she stop wag the tell goes on in the woods I see her wag her tale in the woods.I told the person that was with me I missed her he said I think so.I range find were she went in the woods so I could look blood.Know here were it get really interesting so I reload.I am gonna go look for blood in a few and the other guy is gonna go put tag on deer so he can reload. I get down out of the tree I am only out of my tree for 10 second and I am at the edge of the field and here come this big buck across the field at 350 yrds. I throughed my back pack down on the ground trying to get settled in to take a shot.I just couldn't get a solid rest so I didn't take the shot.I didn't want to make a bad shot or wound a awesome buck so he hop off.I am now on my way to check the doe I shot at 301yrd so get down ther were the doe went in the woods.I look in the woods ther she lays.I look to see were I hit her at shot her heart out not sure how she didn't run or nothing when I was field dressing her a whole perfect through the heart Okay not get back to the buck buck I didn't get to take the shot on.I decided to stay in the stand all day was hoping he would so his self again Dark hit now it raining scope Fogg up.I go home it was raining hard Tuesday morning didt go out till Tuesday eving he never showed his face that eving eather.I said I be back Wensday morning come around back in the stand setting up ther perfect morning beside the Fogg in the air trying to mess my scope up were I can't see so I start wiping my lens off trying to keep them clear so I setting I see a doe come across the field at 300 yrds she get across then gusse what show up the buck he get out ther going across the field at 300 yrds.I stop him run scope up settle in and take the shot pretty much drop in his tracks just Awesome.
I would like to tell Mark (savage shooter) thanks for getting me set up on the dile up thanks buddy.
