I have that case and like it very well. I used it to shop my guns tk Alaska and back with NO misshaps. I put a Savage 06 in it with scope and a Ruger Super Redhawk also scoped. It would be a tight fit putting 2 large Scoped rifles in it I think. The.thing to do would be draw the inside diminsions out on a piece of cardboard and lay them out. I like at least 2 inches of foam between anything. Thwse same cases are available on ebay for under 200 shipped Good.luck Drop

And.they are available in orange also. Also replacement foam is available center cut 3 pcs for under 60 shipped. If you get this caes and cut the foam. I have fount to lay the guns out and trace them with a sharpie. Then I have the best luck using my electric filet knife to cut them out...and I have foam for several guns cut out. Thinking about another case...lol Good.luck Drop

While the Pelican is the Cadillac of gun cases, the new Plano Field Locker and All Weather lines are probly the Buick. The only drawback to the big cases is the go over dimension for USPS. I do like the Plano latches over the Pelican. Also the Plano double rifle Field Locker can take a 54" gun if you have any that long.

I picked up the cabelas armor extreme double scoped rifle case and I am happy with it. I can get my CF conversion with a 26 inch barrel, plus the break, in with my 220 slug gun with room to spare. And the store is about 20 minutes away so I didn't have to pay shipping. The cabelas case is a little wider

I have the Boyt H51 and so far have been very pleased with it. I think I paid $149 for it on sale at Bass Pro. You want be disappointed with the Pelican though. Very well made case....

I like the case alot...very rugged and airline approved...cutting out the outline for your rifles is easy with an electric knife...
on my way home from the range I stopped at a friends house and case was in bed of truck..and it began to rain cats an dogs..when I got home every thing was dry after a hour or so in a down pour...I also like the wheels on it..its nice to roll the case to the range area with 2 rifles in it rather than carry it...well worth the money...

Al Thank you for the update. I think I'm going to purchase one myself. I like the idea of the electric knife to cut out the outline. I'm pretty good with an electric knife, as its all I use to filet fish
