I don't believe you will find anyone willing to do that conversion. You are treading into muddy waters of attempts to make a non 4473 firearm cartridge capable. We all know it would be a failure but the Feds make the rules as they go. I see zero benefit to such a conversion anyways.

I do not want to shoot cartridge just the case. My fingers just have a hard time with shotgun primers. Arthritis is really getting bad.

A 700 ml action with only the bolt retention pin to put head space pressure on case will not work . If your thinking on the line of the new Remington ultimate your cheapest route would be shop around and buy a Remington ultimate that has locking lugs on bolt and in action same as centerfire 700. Then sell your700 ml.

You might consider taking a small piece of flat stock and drilling a .239 or .240 hole in it that would hold the end of the primer and allow you to get it in the bolt nose slot. Might save you some money if just loading is the issue

The case setup typically allows more pressure against bolt face by design of breech system the cartridge system will leak terribly in a 700 ml or break detent pin off.
A craftsman 6.5 mm 12 point box end wrench works great for inserting and removing209 primer in 700 ml bolt face

I remember seeing a primed case conversion a few years back for the 700ML. I really don't remember any of the details or who was doing it, so I'm not much help. But I'm pretty sure it's out there. Found it. dougsmessageboards.proboards.com/thread/3076

I bought a couple feet of the clear 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD poly tubing at lowes and cut it into about 2-1/2 to 3" pieces. Then put the 209 primers on a bench with the small end up and push the poly tubing over the primer leaving a small space between the rim and tubing. With the bolt open hook the primer rim on the bolt nose and pushing the middle of the tubing towards the center of action with you thumb, letting the primer slide into the bolt nose and pull the tubing off the primer. I put a primer in each end and carry the primers in this manner while hunting and at the range.

Is hunter still making the bolt nose kit for the 700/ml with Savage plug? I wish to get a couple.
Thanks.
