So I'm pretty excited because I made my first 243 reload and it went smoothly. I reloaded a 30-06 back in early 2000 where I crushed my first reload right out the date and the guy who ended up helping me said that could have been very bad, like I didn't know that, already felt stupid enough.: ( So since then I have not reloaded and the 243 is getting me back into the game so to speak. I started with 87 Vmax and standard Winchester large rifle primers. I have the Lee reloading anniversary kit which I actually lost allot of the components in my move to my current house. So I still had the O press and the Lee powder dropper. Everything else I had to re acquire. So I bought off Amazon a chaffer, a shell holder that goes into your drill, the 243 case sizer and gauge, a case trimmer, powder funnel, and a couple 100 cartridge holers boxes, also forgot I ordered a lee hand held shell primer. Then I watched some YouTube videos and learned how to set up my Hornady dies and other tools and went to town. So here is my finished product-- 87Vmax 38 grains IMR 4350 Winchester Standard Large Rifle Primer Just excited I was able to figure it out more so on my own, love YouTube!

Looks like a good reload.. I would shoot it in my gun....
I love V-MAX bullets.. Varmints hate them..

Looks good Chad! Reloading is a fascinating hobby and you can make much more accurate ammo than you can buy.

Looking good for a start into the world of reloading. As mentioned about the accuracy you can obtain with reloads you won’t ever want to go back to store bought ammo. Have fun with your new hobby.
