Think theses bad boys will shake you up?
I was tying to get some kind of crimp to hold the slugs in. I made a crimper but I ran a bead of sealer around the slug to keep water out. There supposed to be shot out of a rifled barrel not a smooth and choke. The boy is the only one of us with one so I'll have to wait till he gets home out of the brush. There a 300 gr copper/aluminum hallow point , with 26.8 gr of 800X they should be going around 1600 fps.

300gn slugs are not bad in a 12ga and those green slugs are a fairly short range proposition. The 738gn slugs I shoot from mine are another story; hammer on both ends and I can hit to 200yds with them depending on wind. I tested some steel tipped slugs for a company recently as well.
