I have two the boy and his wife have five or six. They all seam to be a very good scope. Last year I took a tumble down a good sized hill using the barrel of my rifle as an inverted pogo stick, Backwards feet in the air. Got to the bottom used a peace of fence wire to dig the mud and snow out of the barrel and my Leatherman to get the muck out of the scope both ends. Checked to see if any one saw me then continued the hunt. The Redfield was still dead on when I checked back at the truck. To me that sold another one for my 6mm. I used them both an a recent Prairie dog hunt, the Red is on my T/C 22/250 and I have a midrange Bushnell on the 6 right now that I used for years on one of my other "Big thumpers" and thought it was ok...The field of view on the red on 12 was bigger then 9 on the bush. The crispness and brightness on the red was very noticeable compared to my bush. AND I never realized on my Bush up on 9 was kinda "Fish eyed" On the edges. The only thing I found in any of the reviews was the finish was a little thin on the scope. HUMMM? I use my "scope" every week in and out of the truck, case, and scope cover and have never wore out the finish on any scope. Anyway 'less you guys have any thing from real experience I think I'm going to get another Red 4X9 4 plex. Thanks
