What not to do when trying to video

First attempt to video a shot on deer Had my I 6. Deer came out and here's what happened






Recoil knocked phone off stand. Didn't get the money shot.

I've been thinking about getting the spypoint excel been doing allot of research on them and it's very similar to the gopro hero
