That is crazy!! Glad I got my lifetime supply of .25 WSSM brass back when it was under $70 for a bag of 100! I have them all resized to .358 WSSM for my Indiana deer getter.

Last I heard the 25 WSSM was discontinued and no more brass will be made., so if you need it and find it better get it before someone else does... Had Winchester made that 25 caliber in the WSM case instead of the WSSM it would have had a much better chance at success. I remember when the new short magnums were being released and there were talks about a 25.. I told myself if its a 25 WSM I'm first in line to get one,,, if its was a 25 WSSM I would not be interested as I have a 25-06 that can do everything it could do.. The 25 WSM would have been right there with a 257 Weatherby. None of the WSSM cartridges did very well,,as for getting good sales and keeping them alive... But the 300 and 270 WSM have good success and are very effective cartridges...

I called Starline brass a few weeks ago and told them there is a big need for the WSSM caliber cases because the ammo and brass has dried up. The women on the phone said thanks for the tip because they are always looking for a market demand and she will pass it on. So anyone with a WSSM cal. should call them too and maybe they will make some.
