Got this one when it stopped in the middle of a field during 1st Shot gun season. One of the guys had wounded it and a perfect shot through the lungs at 300 yards put it down for good. Was out this evening with a buddy that had patterned some deer coming to a cut corn field every night for the last week or so. I shot the one one the left at 200 yards. Ran about 75 yards and stopped and fell over dead. He was nice and wide, to bad the g2 were broken off. We thought he was just a really wide 6. The dear didn't really do much and were still standing in the field. Buddy had his 44 magnum but the deer where to far out. Asked him if he wanted me to load up the muzzle loader again and he said sure. He made a nice lung shot at 250 on his buck. I could see it pouring out blood as soon as it was hit. Made it about 30 yards and piled up. All were shot with 200 grain SST in a sabot. 60 grains of H4198. Thanks to Luke for helping me pick everything out and barreling my action and head spacing for me. Hunter for selling me a action and installing the bolt nose. CCA for the great job they did on the cerakote to finish things off.

Nice looking deer. You look a little younger in the first picture. Great looking gun.

Congratulations. Can't believe deer just stood around that close waiting for a second shot!
The shotgunners have everything around here scared off for miles. Still got two more Saturdays, though.

Its funny how sometimes when you shoot they are run off and other times they just kind of mill around.
Picked up a sizing die and some 310 apb cant wait to stretch out the distance with them.
