Maybe this is common knowledge or maybe not??? A few weeks ago I tried looking up an address of where to send a Weaver scope for repair. I got a phone number and called it. The fella I talked to at Bushnell told me to send it in. I explained the make and model since I was under the impression that they were doing the repairs (at least on the older Weaver scopes) A few days ago, I received the scope back and it said they did not service this product??? And wanted to charge me $10 for the shipping? I called the number listed on the invoice and after some explaining, the girl said they would wave the fee and did give me a phone number for Weaver repairs: 1-800-635-7656 The address is: Weaver N5549 County Hwy. Z Onalaska, WI 54650
Upon calling, I spoke with a very nice lady and explained my problem with the scope and she said: "just send it to us " (at that above address) and so I did. I am just posting this in the event anyone is looking for where to send their Weaver scope for repair. Richard

good info to have. i had a tasco scope that broke and since Bushnell bought them out too i called them and they said they would not service it at all? they would service only the ones produced after the take over. they said they would repair it at a maximum cost of 40.00 and return shipping of 10.00 . but i figured since it was going on a low recoiling gun it would be cheaper to just buy a cheep new tasco to put on it. i have 2 Bushnell Elite series scopes, i hope that if they need sreviced i get treated a little better.

Back in May I indicated that I had found the "outfit" that does repairs on Weaver scopes. I gave the address and phone number of the company and called it "Weaver!" The actual company's name is ATK Armament Systems at N5549 County Rd. Z, PO Box 39, Onalaska, WI 54650. Well, today, I just received a brand new, in the box, replacement scope from them. Considering I sent it out May 28th., thats real good service. And never expected to get a new scope.!!!!! Richard

Richard, ATK bought Weaver Optics last year (they already owned Weaver, Redfield and Simmons mounts). The Onalaska operations handles like all the commercial accessories. Along with Weaver optics there is also Nitrex and Intensity optics, Weaver, Redfield and Simmons mounts, Outers, Shooters Ridge, Gunslick, RCBS and Ramline based at that location. Another ATK company Champion Targets is under the Onalaska operations but is manufactured in Richmond, IN. The commercial ammo side like Federal, Speer, CCI, Estate Cartridge, Fusion, Black Cloud, Blazer and Alliant Powder are spread out but also fall under the ATK Armament Divsion. Another new addition is Eagle Industries which makes web gear, holsters, vest and all kind of goodies to wear and carry gear in.

It's all intel. When Meade made the dump last year Weaver went to ATK, Redfield went to Leupold and Simmons went to Bushnell. Weaver and Simmons brands are still kicking with ATK and Bushnell honoring warranties and actually pumping up the brands. Supposedly Leupold bought Redfield for some patents ("intellectual property") and if you want warranty work done your SOL. I do not think the Redfield line will reappear.
Bushnell has been growing and they also purchased Millet Sights last year. Also under the Bushnell Outdoor Products are Uncle Mike's, Hoppe's, Stoney Point, Butler Creek among others like Voit (they just license out the name nowadays) plus Serengeti and Bolle sunglasses. They just announced buying Cebe which is a European company big into ski goggles, ski helmets and high end sunglasses.
Of course Burris is now owned by Beretta.
