I got my 1911 back recently. The trigger is now at 3 1/4 pounds and it has a National Match bushing and I changed grips. It shoots well. A Colt M1991 AI upper, series 80 and an Essex lower, bobbed grip.

Left out the other goodies. Commander style hammer, beavertail grip safety, aftermarket sights and trigger, newer style "thumb shelf" safety. Not a bobbed grip, a bobtailed mainspring housing. You'll get up to speed. Got you a real good start. Putting in a well fitted barrel bushing is probly the biggest gainer for the buck as far as accuracy. Now if you have a lowered and flared ejection port and add some stippling or checkering on the forestrap and put a good finish on it you'll be standing tall.

I thought for $400 which included 100 shells and a gun case, at this time, it was not a bad deal.
