This has been by far my best year bowhunting. About a month ago I shot my best bow buck ever here in WV, 153". I pretty well figured that would hold for awhile but it only made it five weeks before I bested it. I shot this buck in Ohio on 11/14, he chased a doe right under my tree. I shot him at 6 yards with my Mathews Switchback XT and slick trick mag 100's. He made it less than 100 yards before he crashed in to some autumn olives. He is now my best bow buck. A hoss of a deer, field dressed 205#, 19 1/4" inside spread, gross 156 4/8". Guess I'll just have to use my sml to work on the doe population.

Another dandy! Congrats on a fantastic year! Is that Cabelas berber fleece camo? Thoughts on it if so? Thanks, yeah thats the Cabelas berber fleece. I have a bunch of it now, and really like it. It will however catch every single burr that is out in the woods. But it is quiet, warm, and if you get it with the wind stop it blocks the wind pretty good too.

that's another great deer, you are having a great year.
I just got back from Ohio myself and after getting my truck broken into and losing two bows and a bunch of other stuff I had to return home defeated.

As a matter of fact its just a continuation from last year. I ended last year with my best buck ever and have been lucky enough to get two 150+ bucks with my bow this year. I know its got to come to end sometime but I hope it doesn't. That really sucks about getting robbed. Maybe your auto insurance will cover it? I am always really paranoid when I'm on an out of state hunting trip that the same thing will happen to me. Dirt bag thieves will look for out of state hunters on trips to clean them out. I had some buddies that had their truck broke into at a hotel on a trip out west. They had left everything in there except their rifles. When they woke the next morning they had an empty truck.

Sorry I wasn't able to get ahold of you down there, we got skunked as well and hunted pretty rough ground, pretty disheartening.

Congrats, on another great buck. That sucks about the truck getting broken into, Bill. When I worked for a big shooting complex in high school we had a customer on a 4H shooting team get his truck broken into while he was eating lunch and his Perazzi was taken; that's what happens when you put free advertizing all over your pickup tho.

Very nice buck!! Congrats, thats what bowhubters work so hard to achieve.
Just out of curiousity, did you have a hunter walk up to you as you were walking to a tree to eat your lunch on the 13th?

Okay. I walked back into a parcel of public, and met a gentleman. When I seen your picture, I instantly thought it was you I met. We briefly spoke for a couple minutes, and I back tracked my steps out to not disturb his area anymore than I already did. I was wondering what the chances would be id see his picture on here.
Again, congrats on a awesome deer!
