I woke up this morning around 4:30 to Pee. Looked out the window and it was clear as a bell and JUST starting to get light. I was Kinda planning a calling morning trip last night So, I stayed up and got ready. I ran out to Carter and Buck road, got out there as the sun cleared the Highwood's. EAST breeze, nuts, that takes some of the state lands out of play. I got in 3 real good set with out a taker . the wind started to swing to the North west as the sky darkened. A BIG storm was heading my way, just what the weatherman had said last night. By time I made it to Moffat bridge it was raining steady. Made a few calls but the rancher was very active and probably messing me up some. No coyotes for me today. I did see TWO Badgers and the Antelope have dropped there fawns. ALWAYS FUN.

How are the prairie dogs out your way? Let's go prairie dogging? OK lets go, you drive. There in VERY good shape this year LOTS of grass. I know of a few places on public ground you wouldn't need any license to shoot a truck load of them. IN FACT I'm trying to keep there numbers down they exploded this year and there colony has expanded a few MILES !!!! There prone to plaguing out when they get SO Many. Nothing to shoot 300 shells ... Each...
