I was referred to this site from a member on TNDeer. Ended up buying a Encore Slufoot barrel and figured this would be a good place to learn about smokeless muzzleloading! I'm an experienced reloader but the smokeless ML seems like a totally different animal.
I'm sure I will learn a lot from everyone!

There are a couple of encore conversion threads recently posted...I must warn you now that this stuff can be addicting..... Welcome to Doug's...What are you shooting now with it...Powder can be scarce ,your close To HillBill, he can definitely point you in the right direction if you can't find what you need/want.....

luckily there is a place in Nashville I go to that has about any type of powder/primer I could want. Decent prices too which helps...
Right now I only have H4831 and IMR4350. These are for my 7mm Rem Mag that I load for... I haven't dug deep enough yet to even see if these are in the same general burn rate as some of the common ones I hear of being used. Once I find the right powder for my Rem Mag I'm going to try to consolidate my powders as much as possible.
May have to have 1 for 7mm, 1 for Smokeless, and 1 for my AR-based calibers (I shoot a 6.8 and 5.56)

H-322 is useable in the smokeless guns and also in the 6.8 which I load for as well but the easy route for your rig will be a lb of 4198, either H or IMR.
56 grns of H-4198 and a light blue harvester holding either a 200 sst or 195 barnes should be an accurate load in the conversion. I would not push above 60 grns in the encore, the barrel is pretty light weight..
