I have been thinking of buying this powder for my inlines and if I like it I'll buy another sidelock. Anyway I need to know if this stuff is any good before I buy a case of it? All opinions welcomed.

I forgot to ask will it work in a flintlock flash pan and ignite the main charge well?

I'm overwhelmed with the responses here Anyway I read its the same as American pioneer 3f but not sure if that's true? Did anyone use the APP 3f and if so how was it?

I'm pretty sure you need 4f for the flash pan. Other than that it is a good brand black powder. Makes a lot of smoke.

Have not tried and no need for Pinnacle, got some AP on sale years ago for my smokers. It had good nitrogen for fertilizer but as powder nowhere near "holy black". I dumped almost 2 whole cans in the garden. I found it difficult to ignite and inconsistent for "burn" and power. Not much problem to get real black here so I stick with that, goes boom every time and if ya gotta clean anyway it's no worse than any of the smokey powders. JMHO others may have different results. 10
