Eagles,catfish and the Aqua Cow

Took the cow ( mud boat)out today. We had some work done on here and this was the first trip back on the water. [:s] All is well for the boat. We didn't start at the crack of midnight like normal, more like 8:00. Walleye was the fish d'jour. They were AWOL today but we hammered the catfish and a few bass. The goldeye where predictable so as long as you stayed out of there house they didn't eat all the bait. We had a lot of very nice pike swim up and take a look at our offerings but just couldn't get them to bite. VERY HOT, but fun to get out, if we would have kept any channel cats we would have had our limits early in the day...

LOVE IT, But it's SLOW in deep water. Water under a foot and it'll do 15 to 18 MPH. Out in water over 3' deep your looking at 9 mph, Same rpm.
We just put on a new prop that helped some, It lets the motor reeve up to near 4000 . Absolutely a great set up when the moss get to bad to run the big jet boat...
