I am reloading for match shoots with a lee die set and while neck sizing the brass the die started to crush the neck into the chamber of the brass. It looks like it ran out of room and its just pushing the bullet receiving end back into itself. I removed the die and the primer punch is loose. Any ideas what caused this and what can be done? I'd appreciate any help with it... Thanks, Rob

Why is this in the feedback section? It should be in the reloading section.
Did you lube the inside of the neck when you sized the brass? Sounds like carbon build up in the interior of the neck. Clean and lube it before sizing. You can also make sure the case overall length is correct.

as it turned out the top may not have been tight enough, and through the course of 100 shells continued to losen until the primer punch and the part that sizes the neck were no longer in sink with each other. At least I think that is what happened. The rubber washer go caught in the threads and I had a hard time disassembling it. Once I did and reassembled it, things were working fine. Now to redo the last 25 or so, just to be sure...

I only lube on the full lengnth sizer, and these were already fireformed to my gun, and dont want them full lengthed again. I'll try the lube for the next run. Thanks
