This is the last of my ML deer... Processed it yesterday, smoked it today.... This is some seasoning I picked up at Cabelas. The wife and I just ate a couple with mustard and buns.. gooood.... Next project is to finish off my Antelope with some jerky. Zen

You shot all mule deer didn't you Zen? I've often wondered how they compare with whitetails. May not be able to tell the difference in Brats.

DB.... Yeah , all I shot were mulies... Pretty much the same between the Whitetails and Mulies if they're eating from the same food sources. If you kill a mulie that's been eating all grass and sage then there's a difference... The best venison I've ever eaten was a whitetail that had one foot in a cornfield and another in an alfalfa field and another in a silage pile ;D Zen

Panhandle
You’re hurting me with that picture of culinary delight to feast on. My doctor is still hounding me to lose even more weight but when I see such a lovely treat waiting to be enjoyed my stomach rumbles saying “give me”. Eventually that rumble will subside once I get away from this picture.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor even if I have to suffer the consequences of torment from viewing. ;D

ET... There's not a drop of fat in these if that helps ;D Zen Love your recipe for humor that’s topped off with a daunting tease. ;D The only helpful aid in this situation is if those culinary treats were in arms reach. But to even enjoy and do justice to those lovely Brauts a lightly toast bun coated with garlic butter, then topped with sautéed onions (fried of course) with a final topping of either garlic/mayo or combination of horse radish/mustard. In my case the absolute final topping would be chopped hot peppers to kick it up a notch. The Brauts may not be overly fattening but the extras wouldn’t help the cause for watching calories. To be confronted with such a lovely choice my stomach would overrule my brain on the calorie issue in short order. Hey everybody has their weakness and I have no shame to reveal mine. Just a nagging conscience surfacing afterwards that would say “I can’t believe you ate all that”. Ed
