The Maxi's are a real P.I.T.A. to lube! I have been using the "Yellow Stuff" and it is a mess to say the least. Recently I bought several hundred cast Maxi's in both calibers off Gunbroker. The same guy that sells the bullets offeres a great black powder lube. Then I came up with a real good way to lube them. I took a .30-06 case and resized it in my 9.3x62 sizing die. I then cut the end off the case off. Guess what? The sized side fits the .32 and the cut side fits the .36. Put your bullets in a small pie tin (or whatever) and pour melted lube up to the top band. When set just "cookie cut" out your maxi's. Wa La! The lube left in the pie tin can be reused in the next batch. A glass measuring cup, microwave proof, can be used to melt the lube.

Welcome gunner, hope you enjoy the forums. That is known as "pan lubing" and the caseing you're using is called a "cookie cutter" and it's a very old method of loobing bullets. I just buy old golf club, yard sale or 2nd hand store, with hollow handle and cut the handle at the place to fit the bullets and just cut them out with that. Best, 10 ga

Now I am using old, out of production, T/C lubers for the larger calibers. I have one for each of the .45, .50 and .54 Calibers. Works great just start cutting while the lubes still warm or you'll have a time of it!
