I have Savage 210. Someone indicated that the barrel could be replaced with a 20 gauge. I realize Savage makes the 220 in 20 gauge but what all else is involved. Magazine, bolt changes etc. Costs? Also if one wanted to go to a wood stock what would be the proper stock? I have never seen as masssive a bolt as on this gun. My .375 H&H Improved pales by comparison. Thanks

I know a guy who had it done. I'll get with him for details. I have a 210F that is pretty heavily worked over but I have considered rebarreling to 20GA also.

Chris, Wow ! Ain't that a slick looking and shooting deer gun . I notice it has the original recoil pad and it was ported ( looks like Mag-na- Port ) . I had to have mine ported by Mag-na- Port as the pad is a bit thin . Mine is 12ga and my chamber is only 2 3/4 '' and it is still two hands full when it goes off ! I your gun chambered for the 3'' shell ? Is it stll a 12ga. ? I may have to try the Accu-Tips . I am very lucky to have a shotgun modified by Chris Young .
