Luke, Not sure what you've killed before but he is a dandy anywhere I've been. I know places like Iowa can kick out some monsters but I have to keep myself in check sometimes. Even though I've shot a 160 around here they are not everywhere.

Biggest one to date...It's really an awesome wrack. 23"+ beams, 5.5" bases, 10" G3's. The beadwork on the bases is really cool. Less than 3" of deductions from gross score of 151 4/8".
Over the years, I've choked on a couple of monsters and passed on a few on drives that started looking bigger and bigger after the moment of opportunity passed. Even in Iowa, unless you really get after it and own or have access to a lot of land getting something 150"+ doesn't happen all that often.

Luke, great buck and story. Cool looking gun and it is not like a disco ball unless you provide some light. I'll paint it green if you like. Sorry for the late response--I've never looked in the stories.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Still haven't decided where I'm going to hang it. Or maybe I'm just putting off drilling in my plaster/lathe wall--I hate that stuff.

Looks great Luke. Who mounted it for ya? Jim Kindig @ All Seasons Taxidermy in Marion. He's an old friend of the family and does great work.

Real nice buck i wish people would let them grow that big in Michigan few and far between. Most people stack them like core wood here. Average buck harvested 1 1/2 old sorry to rant but it's very frustrating.
