I have been now hunting for a very long time, and I have had a bunch of different equipment over the years. This past year my 11 year old has been shooting his bow daily and doing push ups and chin ups trying to get to a point he could pull his PSE Chaos at 45 lb( lease min weight rule) This is a pretty great accomplishment for a kid that weighs 65 pounds in coveralls. The thing is that as a kid I shot a recurve so all the broadheads I used were big 2 blade CoC broadheads. It took a lot fly some straight. Question is would y'all recommend a CoC or stick to a punch like the Muzzy I shoot off my monster? If CoC, which one will fly well (without a big change in pin) off his relatively light draw but very quick bow? I shoot glue on Magnus 125s on my longbow and found they plane pretty bad when added to the kiddo's arrow. So I think a smaller profile would be better.

My son shot 85gr Magnus stingers out of his bow with draw weights down in the mid 30's(21"DL). Did the trick on a few deer. He's up to about 50# and 26" now and shooting Slick Tricks. I would try them before Muzzys.

Also check out the qad exodus. The are working real well with lighter draw setups.

My vote is for the Stingers if you are interested in penetration.

Nothing flys more like field points than the Slick Trick "RazorTrick". Have shot it in high performance crossbows to over 350fps with pin point accuracy. Cut and penetration is 2nd to none! slicktrick.net/

I have been now hunting for a very long time, And you are 35 years old! Time is relative. I think the other guys gave great suggestions. I live 50 miles from where Slick Tricks are made(to my understanding) and agree with SS that they do fly great and have great terminal performance. An "old" guy, SW

Thanks y'all! I had him try the Magnus and the Slick Trick and the Tricks did the trick. They survived every test we threw at them. I was looking for a broadhead for the kid, but I think I might be finishing the rest of my season with some in my quiver as well
