few pics of last weeks adventure in Manitoba. I was hoping to use the 12ga Beretta double, but had the 450 Winchester with me that night. Always next year thou 2nd pic is with buddy Alan and his bear, and 3rd pic is buddy Keith. You can see the bear trail he came in on right behind them. Now to decide what to do with him!!!

Congrats on a successful hunt and what appears to be a memorable one with all around success. I imagine that some good campfire stories emerged from this hunt.

Congrats Al I bet you liked that 450m cartridge for bear? I would it the bear and make a bear rug.

Ed, Dave, always a good time in camp and plenty of stories rehashed from years past. Can't see quiting anytime soon.......................not even for crappie fishing Paul!!!
Muz, this was the first blood for the lil 450. I sure like the gun and round even thou the gains over the ole 45-70 are nil, both hit very hard. My prefered gun is a 71 in 50 Alaskan, but for the fist time in 10 years, she's stayed home. Next year the Beretta will get the nod again, just have to try those full bore slugs on something!
