Slugger and all, thought you'd enjoy my winter project. Getting ready to head to Manitoba next week for my annual spring bear hunt. I try and take a new toy every year, usually it's a lever gun of some sorts, but this year my poormans 12ga rifled double will get the call. Full bore 820gr hardcast, pan lubed, sized, and roll crimped in a 2 3/4" clear Federal hull. I was hoping to have some brass hulls turned for this trip, wanted to hear them thunk-thunk when dropped in the chambers, but no free time to make them yet. This is the Beretta project gun built by a good friend in Iowa. She wears 24" Hastings rifled tubes with express rear sights and set up for a QD scope if I ever feel the need. Both barrels print level and within 3" @ 50yds freehand..........not to excited to shoot it off the bags just yet The buisness end complete with fiber optic front. That orange bead sticks out great in the dark woods and my eyes need all the help they can get !!

Beautiful gun Al! Make sure you're tied in, that thing might knock you out of the tree when it goes off. ;D
Good luck and enjoy your time off.

just back yesterday, will post some pics when I get them sorted out. Had the Winchester 450 with me the night I took the bear, but always next year.
Btw, we hunt in The Pas, just a bit north of you.

I know what that 450 can do, I have shot bear with my H&R Ultra Hunter in 450 marlin it puts the smack on em.
