OK. Set up my cam on a dining room chair and followed directions. FLASH. Got me! Stuck the SD card in my SD port in my PC. Wallah! Transferred it to photobucket and here it is. AND...I'm a complete idiot with this stuff so it can be done easily. Even got a good buck on the first try! Should have aimed it at the better bucks on the other wall. ;D Maybe next time. Can't wait to put this in the woods.

It is interesting when you visit the setup and discover that it has taken a few or dozens of shots. I have two cards and simply replaced the card and returned to the computer to view the pictures. It is a fun thing to do and provides you with what passed by during your absence. Have fun.

My girlfriend and I just took a long hike up back and set the Cuddeback up on a spot that has a lot of fresh deer tracks. It was fun. I now have to decide how long to wait before retrieving the SD card. It will be on my mind until I do. I plan on waiting 4-5 days. This is exciting already.
This is not my deer hunting area but there is still a bunch of deer up there. Apparently fox and yotes too. I will report my pictures if I get any.

If you can wait four or five days you are better at controling yourself than I am. I had to return and see what images I had captured the first night. It is very exciting and a good tool for the hunter. I am looking forward to viewing your success. I used mine on trails, around feeders and set it to have a five minute elapse of time between pictures. Thanks in advance for sharing. This is a real interesting project. Ben

My camera has a 30 second delay and then 4 other settings....the longest one 30 minutes. I am not hovering over a feeder and probably never will be. 30 seconds almost seems too long on a trail where 3-4....or more animals may be traveling. Time will tell. I wish I had 10 of these and the time to handle them right. One day when I retire, I could be SO occupied with this type of activity.
By the way Ben, I did not forget about the ammo. How are you situated? The press handle in my photo is the one used in your loads! The old Rockchucker. If you are low, I will fire her up. If you are good, I will just do the rest sometime this winter. It is your call!

I am good to go. Take your time and put doing that on the low priority list. Enjoy that new toy and share your failures and pictures.

The digital trail cam is really a hoot!! I have enjoyed mine greatly and hope to get another this year. After two years use at deer camp I have yet to find a use for all those extra settings. Bursts, delays, etc. Mine is best to set on Auto flash, min time out, max resolution and leave the rest alone.
If you don't mind Ben, I will only share my pictures. There are far too many failures to bore folks with.
