So do I. SRH Alaskan SRH 7.5 in that I'm going to scope. GP 100 6 in MK III Competition that I'm going to scope. Single Six 22 22 Mag An old Standard 4 in. 23 Gr. of H110 with a 240 XTP really lights things up. Wouldn't want to shoot it at night.

I found a 480 Alaskan tucked away at the local gunshop last spring. Haven't got real serious with it yet, but sure is a hoot to shoot.

Got a 480 in the Alaskan several years ago, it's a love hate relationship. I didn't buy it to shoot regular just as a protection piece when traveling and as a back up for close range pigs as a last resort. I am a Ruger fanatic and of all my heavy use guns the are the cream of the crop. The one I wish I could get a few more of is the Gold Label. In my opinion, all rugers are wellcom in my collection. If there is one out there someone doesn't like, I'll be glad to make room for one more.
