Started the Indiana gun season in the "killer" stand, with my "big pistol". It's a 17.5" Encore pistol, rifle fore-end on Harris bi-pod, 1-8" twist, in 260 Rem, shooting Hdy 129 gr SST. Trajectory is crazy, +4"@100yd, +1"@200yd, -4 " @300yd, and -8"@350yd. Hardly seems fair, but only use it in few select stands where distance and SAFETY are available, and it's Indiana legal to boot! Well on to the story. Doe and button buck came out, shot mom at 227yd and button at 252yd, both bang flop with exits. The end of story. I have since put that gun away due to lack of fairness!
