Guys, I was able to get my hands on a mint Knight Hawkeye .50 cal pistol late last year. I took her on the opening weekend here in TN and was able to harvest a nice doe with it. I shot the doe at 65 yards and she dropped where she stood. That was a very proud moment. I just love the smell of black powder on a crisp morning. Attachments:

Nice job! I too have a Knight Hawkeye but have yet to hunt with it. I just purchased a Knight Magnum Primer kit for $15 from another forum member, edwardmason, that uses rifle primers in little brass adapters. Fits my Hawkeye perfect. I believe he has another blue set to match your gun if you're interested.
