About 8am opening morning I had the pleasure of being a spectator of this young black bear lumbering playfully back to his bed. Notice how he locks up like a bird dog when he crosses my path of entry to my stand then comes closer to investigate my scent. Sometimes, in my old age, I derive more pleasure from making a video of wild game than I do going through the tedious process of the actual kill and recovery. This guy made me laugh as he has the demeanor of a young puppy. Click on link to see photobucket video.

Cool video...I too don't have to kill to enjoy the outdoors. I think that is the biggest misconception that anti-hunters have about hunters. We are more INTO nature than most naturalists. That short encounter with the cub made the SIT a special one that you will remember for a long time,thanks for sharing. Greenhorn
